Th 3CK series relates to a network motif in the artist's drawings throughout the latter half of the 90s. Precursors can be found in sketchbooks beginning in 1995, and even, less directly, in a series of mazes dating back to the 1980s.

The images of 3CK began as computer-assisted sketches for the 2003 and 2004 Artcontext calendars. The various image algorithms have been collected into an interactive format for online presentation.
