| This project involves networking. If you do not have access to the internet from the computer you are using, you should be aware that you will not really be seeing the essence of the work. | The essence of this piece is collaboration. For years I've been trying to develop a creative process that involves image making, like drawing, but that also allows others -- friends, strangers, artists, children -- to contribute to and enjoy my work. It is hoped that the result will be a detour from the familiar patterns of work and consumption. Part of the goal is to eliminate the commodity status of the art, but not to eliminate the beauty of creative, imaginative experience. |
